In the November 5, 2015 Federal Register (FR), the EPA officially extended the public comment period by 30 days for both the proposed hazardous waste pharmaceuticals rule and the proposed hazardous waste generators improvements rule.

The EPA Administrator signed the proposed Management Standards for Hazardous Waste Pharmaceuticals Rule and the proposed Hazardous Waste Generators
Improvements Rule on August 31, 2015, and both were published in the FR on September 25, 2015.
The public comment period for both rules is now December 24, 2015.
