Safety equipment manufacturer Gateway Safety announces the addition of two new NIOSH-approved disposable respirators

April 19, 2017 – Safety equipment manufacturer Gateway Safety announces the addition of two new NIOSH-approved disposable respirators to its growing line of respiratory protection. The TruAir® family, the company’s traditional-style line of respirators, is introducing an R95 and N100 product. R95 respirators filter at least 95% of particulate aerosols below the Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL), and N100 respirators provide 99.99% filtration of particulate aerosols free of oils below the PEL.

“The addition of the R95 and N100 products allows us to offer a very broad range of disposable particulate respiratory protection, while maintaining our market position as a value-priced safety manufacturer,” said Gateway Safety Vice President Matthew Love.

The TruAir respirator family now provides N95, N99, N100, R95 and P100 solutions.  Though covering a variety of filtration levels, all TruAir products offer the same great features: a large, molded shell to reduce breathing resistance and minimize end user fatigue; an adjustable metal nosepiece for a tight seal around the nose; and latex-free, dual elastic head straps to help with a secure fit.

Gateway Safety has also added a two-pack baggie option for vending machine facilities or retail displays.  This packaging option is currently available for the N95 products in the TruAir line as well as PeakFit®, another popular respiratory family from Gateway Safety.
