Faces of EHS: Dr. Chuck Pettinger on Putting Data to Good Use

Dr. Chuck Pettinger is a Certified Behavior Analyst and has served as a Behavioral Program Specialist for the State of Florida and other private industries. Chuck has also played a prominent role in writing and conducting research grants. He has managed projects, worth more than $2.5 million, funded by the Alcoholic Beverage Medical Research Foundation, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Department of Motor Vehicles, NIOSH, MSHA, National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and the U.S. Department of Energy.

Currently, he is working as the Vice President of Customer Success and Experience at Newmetrix, which helps construction companies create proactive cultures by focusing on reducing job-site risk and overall project cost. This is accomplished by combining the data companies are already collecting with the best of human and artificial intelligence to create construction-trained predictive models.
