On episode 117 of EHS On Tap, David Seltzer, territory manager for Pennsylvania for the American Red Cross, talks about how the Red Cross has refocused its safety training initiatives. Recorded recently at the American Society of Safety Professionals’ Safety 2022 conference.
David Seltzer serves as a sales management leader for the Training Services division at the American Red Cross. Seltzer, who has been with the Red Cross since November 2004, is responsible for supporting organizations across the spectrum in their training needs, from the initial consult to maintenance, account support, and quality assurance. Seltzer oversees sales executives in the Pennsylvania Keystone territory in ensuring that the portfolio of Red Cross Workplace Safety products (CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens), Resuscitation Suite (BLS, ALS, and PALS), and automatic external defibrillators are utilized in businesses across the nation.
Known for his ability to build a team of high performers, Seltzer’s areas of expertise include coaching to career/organization goals, change management, process management, performance management, project management and program analysis. Prior to the Red Cross, Seltzer served in business development, sales and recruiting positions for various information technology companies.
Seltzer holds a Juris Doctorate from Temple University School of Law and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
