Universal Waste
Hazardous waste management is a topic that encompasses a wide variety of wastes and procedures that help to keep the harmful effects of waste on human health and the environment to a minimum. According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), the universal waste regulations streamline the hazardous waste management standards for certain categories of hazardous waste that are commonly generated by a wide variety of establishments.

Fire Safety
October 9-15 is Fire Prevention Week. This national week of observance is the longest-running public health observance in United States history, according to the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Fire safety is everyone’s responsibility in the workplace, says OSHA.
