On episode 119 of EHS On Tap, Tony Roussey, chief operating officer of EV Construction, talks about his company’s safety philosophy.
Tony Roussey is the Chief Operating Officer and former Safety Director for EV Construction, a nationally recognized construction management firm. For 54 years, Roussey has worked with staff, customers, architects and trade contractors to provide great value and a positive work experience. Throughout his career, he has been directly responsible for the leadership of many construction teams. His ability to organize, direct and plan a project with a team approach results in successful projects, high owner satisfaction ratings, repeat/loyal customers and a safety record that speaks for itself.
Roussey’s efforts have been recognized and awarded at a national level. The company has been awarded the 2018 Pinnacle Award by Associated Builders and Contractors at the National Excellence in Construction Awards, the 2017 Safety Excellence Award by Associated Builders and Contractors at the National Excellence in Construction Awards, the 2017 Safety Contractor of the Year Award from ABC’s Western Michigan Chapter and numerous others.
In addition to being LEED AP certified, Roussey has his OSHA 10-Hour Certification, a Construction Management Certification from the University of Wisconsin, a Construction Estimating Certificate from North Harris County Community College and is an AGC Construction Technologies graduate.
