Mwangi Ndonga is Senior Health and Safety Hygienist at Ball Corporation. He manages the industrial hygiene, occupational health, and ergonomics programs Ball’s packaging operations in the US, Canada, and Mexico. He has an interest and ability to employ data analysis tools and machine learning algorithms for the prevention of workplace injury and illness. Ndonga served as the 2019 President of the AIHA Rocky Mountain Section. He continues to enthusiastically volunteer at the AIHA national level as Vice Chair of the Technology Initiatives Strategic Advisory Group, Big Data & Sensor Technology Working Group, and Strategic Planning Task Force. He is also the co-host of the Probability Matters podcast, which promotes positive ideas and philosophies that impact the impact of technology on the overall health and safety of workers. He is a Certified Industrial Hygienist, Certified Safety Professional, Certified Hazardous Material Manager.
