Jo Pina has over 18 years of experience in leading safety initiatives and creating a culture of safety excellence in both construction and general industry. As Vice President of EHS at Verde, Pina oversees the development and implementation of environmental, health, and safety programs and policies that protect employees, contractors, and visitors from occupational hazards and risks.
Pina holds the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification as well as the OSHA Authorized Construction Trainer certification. She’s a published author of “My Safety Superhero”, a children’s book that emphasizes the importance of working safely, and is also an active member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP).
