Dustin Heacox started out getting involved with safety by putting himself through college at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he graduated with a B.S in Occupational Safety. After a brief stint with the WI Army National Guard and a job in underground cable, he began working with the Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS). Following that position, he began selling safety equipment until the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
Currently, Dustin serves as the senior EHS coordinator at Inpro. He is also this year’s runner up for the 2023 Safety Standout Award for Young Safety Professional Excellence.
