Construction workers face plenty of hazards on a daily basis. One of the most serious is struck-by incidents, which are a leading cause of death and nonfatal injuries in construction. A struck-by incident is defined by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration as one “produced by forcible contact or impact between the injured person and an object or piece of equipment.”
