Companies subject to California’s Proposition 65 (Prop 65) rule should prepare to make changes to their compliance plans, as the California Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) announced substantial proposed changes to the rule on January 8, 2021.

Update: The EPA recently published a final rule extending the Toxic Substances Control Act’s (TSCA) Chemical Data Reporting (CDR) deadline to January 29, 2021. The previous deadline was November 30, 2020.
The EPA released its final risk assessment on carbon tetrachloride, published in the Federal Register on November 4, 2020, concluding that the chemical poses unreasonable risks to worker health.
