EPA’s UST operator training under this Act does not apply to:
- UST systems regulated under 40 CFR 280.10(b); and Y/N
- UST systems deferred by regulation at 40 CFR 280.10(c). Y/N
UST operators must, at a minimum, be trained according to the following EPA Guidelines (EPA-510-R-07-005):
- Class A Operator:
- General knowledge of UST system requirements in order to make informed decisions regarding compliance and ensure appropriate individuals are fulfilling operation, maintenance, and recordkeeping requirements of 40 CFR 280 or approved state requirements regarding spill and overfill prevention, corrosion protection, release detection, emergency response, and product compatibility Y/N
